Seraf is a free, community-sourced application that displays buy and sell currency-exchange rates and the locations of exchange offices in Damascus, Syria. The information is gathered from and maintained by users of the app.

Seraf is a community area. The rates, offices, and other data shown are submitted, updated, and confirmed by community members — not by Seraf and not by any official authority. We do not independently verify every submission. Content reflects the views and inputs of users, not of Seraf. By taking part, you agree to contribute honestly and respectfully.

You are responsible for the content you submit (rates, offices, addresses, pins, confirmations, and messages). By submitting content, you represent that it is accurate to the best of your knowledge and that you have the right to share it. You grant Seraf a worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, and distribute your contributions within the app and its shared dataset for the benefit of the community. We may review, edit, moderate, or remove any contribution at our discretion to keep data accurate and the community healthy.

When using Seraf, you agree not to:

• Submit false, misleading, or manipulative rate or office information;
• Spam, scrape, or abuse the service, or attempt to overwhelm or disrupt it;
• Post unlawful, harassing, hateful, or infringing content;
• Impersonate others or misrepresent your affiliation with any exchange office;
• Use the app for any illegal purpose or in violation of applicable laws and sanctions;
• Attempt to reverse engineer, interfere with, or gain unauthorized access to the service.

Rates shown in Seraf are crowdsourced estimates and may be inaccurate, outdated, or incomplete. They are provided for general information only and are not financial, investment, or trading advice, and not an offer or solicitation to exchange currency. Always verify the current rate directly with an exchange office before any transaction. You are solely responsible for decisions you make based on the app.

The Seraf app, its name, logo, design, and software are owned by Seraf and protected by applicable laws. Except for your own contributions, you may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from the app without our permission.

The service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that the data will be accurate or current.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Seraf and its contributors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss arising from your use of — or reliance on — the app or its data, including financial loss from currency transactions. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the greatest extent permitted by law.

We may suspend or terminate your access to the service at any time, including for breach of these Terms or misuse of the community area. You may stop using the app at any time.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We'll revise the “Last updated” date above, and your continued use of the app after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
