We keep data collection to a minimum. Depending on how you use Seraf, this may include:

• Anonymous device identifier. A randomly generated ID stored on your device so we can attribute contributions, prevent abuse, and remember your preferences. It is not linked to your real-world identity.
• App preferences. Settings such as your chosen language (Arabic or English) and default currency, stored locally on your device.
• Approximate location. Only when you grant permission, used to show nearby offices and distances (see Section 3).
• Content you submit. Exchange rates, office names, addresses, map pins, opening hours, and confirmations you contribute to the community (see Section 4).
• Messages you send us. If you contact support, we receive your name, email address, and the contents of your message.
• Basic technical & diagnostic data. Standard information such as app version, device type, and crash/error logs to keep the app working.

We do not require you to create an account, and we do not ask for your name, phone number, or financial information to use the app.

• To display exchange offices, rates, and distances.
• To let you submit, update, and confirm crowdsourced data.
• To remember your language and currency preferences.
• To detect and prevent spam, abuse, and fraudulent submissions.
• To diagnose crashes and improve performance and reliability.
• To respond to your support requests.

Seraf can use your device location to show nearby exchange offices and the best rates around you. Location access is optional and only used while you are using the app. You can decline it or revoke it at any time in your device settings — the app still works, you just won't see distance-based sorting. We do not continuously track you in the background, and we do not sell location data.

Seraf is a community area. Rates, offices, and confirmations you submit are shared publicly with all users so the community benefits. Please do not include personal or sensitive information in submissions. Contributions may be reviewed, edited, or removed to keep the data accurate and the community healthy.

We do not sell your personal information. We may share data only:

• Publicly, for the community content you choose to submit.
• With service providers (e.g. hosting, maps, and crash reporting) that process data on our behalf under appropriate safeguards.
• When required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of users and the service.

We retain data for as long as needed to provide the service and for legitimate purposes such as preventing abuse. Community contributions may remain available as part of the shared dataset even after you stop using the app. Diagnostic logs are kept for a limited period.

• Control location permission through your device settings.
• Reset your anonymous device identifier by reinstalling the app.
• Request access to, correction of, or deletion of data associated with your device by emailing us — see Section 10. We'll do our best to honor reasonable requests, subject to keeping the public community dataset accurate.

Seraf is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will remove it.

We may update this policy from time to time. We'll revise the “Last updated” date above and, for material changes, provide a more prominent notice in the app.
